Do you want to bring the arts to life for your students? Bring them to THE MAX. THE MAX embraces field trips for students k-12, as well as university groups.

In fact, the creators of THE MAX have worked closely with the Mississippi Department of Education to develop classroom materials for teachers and students, and a dynamic field-trip program that supports academic objectives at every grade level through hands-on learning opportunities.

Programs offered through The MAX Music Studio

The Sound of Success is an educational collaboration between public and private school educators and The MAX. High school music teachers will recommend outstanding juniors and seniors who plan to pursue further training through higher education. The program will pair students with professional mentors who will teach and guide the student and help develop sample work and performances for submittal to higher education programs. The Sound of Success will be sponsored by grants from both private and public sources. The goal of the program is to provide quality free counseling and training in the arts to students who otherwise could not afford professional guidance and training.

Picturing Success is an educational collaboration between public and private school educators and The MAX. High school art teachers will recommend outstanding juniors and seniors who plan to pursue further training through higher education. The program will pair students with professional artist mentors who will teach and guide the student and help develop a portfolio of artwork for submittal to higher education programs. Picturing Success will be sponsored by grants from both private and public sources. The goal of the program is to provide quality free counseling and training in the arts to students who otherwise could not afford professional guidance and training.
