In the South, it’s not hard to argue that a big part of our identity is our food. And when people think Southern food, they most often think of dishes like cornbread, fried chicken, collard greens… Soul Food. On Friday, September 9, as a fundraiser for our Success programs, The MAX will celebrate soul food with an evening of great food, great drink, and great music at Fork & Fête. Delta chefs David Crews and Mary Johnson will team up to create an incredible upscale soul food menu, paired with live music by Blue Mother Tupelo.
