First Saturday at The MAX with Artist Angi Cooper
Angi Cooper returns to The MAX to offer a free watercolor workshop. Like Anderson, Cooper draws inspiration from the sheer pleasures of the natural world in Mississippi “…the joy of watching a pair of young esteemed bluebirds fledge…the dramatic change in color of approaching rain clouds, the thrill of watching dolphins race a ferry boat, the soothing repetition of ocean waves…charting the progress of a planted young tree…camping on a sandbar…All of these moments connect me to earth.”
This workshop will be held from 10am-12:30pm. Enjoy free admission all day from 9am-5pm and view our exhibit The South’s Most Elusive Artist: Walter Anderson.
From 9 am-2 pm, watercolor a Mississippi print that we will use to decorate our Christmas tree at Merrehope.
