Storytelling & Music at The MAX
Dive into the whimsical world of Walter Anderson on Saturday, Nov. 9!
We are partnering with the Meridian Lauderdale County Public Library and Meridian Symphony Association to bring you a morning of storytelling and music at The MAX.
Schedule of events:
10-10:30 am: Welcome and live piano music, as visitors tour the Walter Anderson exhibit and prepare for other activities.
10:30-11:15 am: Public reading of Anderson’s book Robinson: The Pleasant History of an Unusual Cat and the recently-released Anderson’s Alice: Walter Anderson Illustrates Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
11:15 am-noon: get hands-on with real instruments with the Meridian Symphony Association in a musical instrument petting zoo.
Fun for all ages. Experience Anderson like never before with these classic-but-fresh children’s books. All activities are included with admission to The MAX.
