Writer Meeting and Workshop

Mississippi Writers Guild and Mississippi Songwriters Alliance partner together for Writer’s meeting and workshop at The MAX.

Each meeting encompasses one or more aspects of writing, from intensive workshops, critique sessions, and breakout sessions to MWG’s signature Literary Artists on Stage, an open mic session that includes songs, poetry, flash fiction/memoir, 5-minute plays, and more! Every writer, whatever category, is welcome to participate because we inspire each other as writers. Bring a work in progress or brainstorm about a new one you’re hoping to start. Whatever level you are as a writer, let’s work together to form a strong Meridian writing community.
